Academic & Leadership Projects

From founding national-level student teams to launching social impact startups, these projects reflect a journey of bold leadership, creative execution, and systems thinking. Each initiative blends strategy, empathy, and innovation — solving real problems across education, sustainability, community resilience, and women’s empowerment.

Team Suryaksh : Solar Powered Vehicle
Team Vinidra:
Student Satellite Development

Project Manager for Team Suryaksh, an all-women team building a solar-powered vehicle during the pandemic. Focused on laying a strong technical foundation, fostering team culture, and ensuring project sustainability, which led to participation in a national competition after my graduation.

Team Ojas :

Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) for River Cleaning

Co-led the formation of Team Vinidra to develop KARVESAT, a student satellite honoring social reformer Maharshi Karve. Focused on team building, remote project management, and fostering a pioneering spirit.

Post-graduation, the team won national awards at CANSAT India and showcased innovation at prestigious events.

Supported the development of "Ojas," an AUV designed for river cleaning. Assisted in team coordination, subsystem brainstorming, and remote collaboration strategies during COVID-19. Built early foundations for sustainable, impactful engineering projects targeting environmental challenges.

Initiated and led ABHYUTSAHA, a groundbreaking program aimed at demonstrating women’s capabilities in engineering leadership. This initiative encompassed three specialized teams—Vinidra (Sky), Suryaksh (Land), and Ojas (Water)—each focused on a unique domain of engineering. The program brought together 80+ students from 5 engineering streams to deliver high-impact projects under a unified vision. ABHYUTSAHA served as a platform for female-driven engineering innovation in the Three Elements.

WINGS Magazine

“Stories shape futures — one voice, one edition at a time.”

Founded and led "Wings," a magazine showcasing inspiring student success stories and educating on diverse topics beyond engineering. Built a 17+ member team, launched 9+ editions, and reached over 500 readers. Honed leadership, editorial, and project execution skills through sustained content creation and community engagement.

WE Club

“When systems collapsed, we built human networks.”

Founded the "WE" community during India's COVID-19 second wave, connecting 150+ students and faculty via WhatsApp to share emergency resources and innovate solutions. Led the setup and coordination of this crucial platform remotely, fostering collaboration and emotional resilience during a national crisis

WISR Chapter

Women in Stem Research

“Empowering women in STEM isn't just a goal — it’s a movement we lead.”

Founded the WISR chapter at college to motivate women in STEM and research. Led a team of 27+ members, organized mentorship programs, and hosted events to inspire over 230+ students. Strengthened leadership, project management, and community building skills while fostering diversity in STEM fields.

Autonomous Manufacturing System – ASME SDC, E-Fest Asia Pacific 2020

“We didn’t just build a robot — we engineered trust into every turn.”

Led the first all-girls team at the Student Design Competition (SDC) during ASME E-Fest Asia Pacific 2020, hosted at Marwadi University, Gujarat (Feb 28 – Mar 1).
The challenge was to design and build an autonomous system capable of constructing a tower from paper sheets and demonstrating structural strength by carrying weight independently.
This project combined mechanical design, control systems, and real-time automation — showcasing leadership, innovation, and teamwork in a highly competitive engineering environment.
